The Kingfisher has a short, piercing cry, a straight and very rapid flight, and feeds on small fish and insects, which she knows how to capture with admirable patience and skill. It is therefore understandable that fish farmers bear this elegant fisherman a well-justified grudge. Mr. Peter Allen demonstrates the art of stencilling at the Whittington Press open day.
